I’ll be there! I have a friends virtual Happy Hour at 7pm then I will jump into the neighborhood. I hope everyone has been doing well and hanging in there during the transition into this upcoming school year.

Adam thank you for sharing those spiritual reading you and Rita discussed. They are posted on my desktop to reflect on when things in the house seem to get heated.

Lisa thank you for sharing your story and experience reminding us we have a loving God we can turn to always with anything we are facing in life.

Yes, Julia I love the theology as well. It’s a lot different then my other mom/parenting groups I am part of.

I’m looking for the love and like buttons!! Agree and appreciate the questions Rita. Like Julia said recognizing, giving it a name, and rejecting it’s power. Showing love and compassion together. I love the insight of how the devil works-I never knew he cannot know my thoughts. That being said I am going to look to pray aloud more often. Toning down the struggle and arguments to a level of love which can conquer all.

This is definitely something I want to incorporate with my future spouse. At the end of the day we should be a team. Even having different thoughts knowing that no matter the decision that was made it was made together and adjusted together if needed. No need for pointing fingers because that will just separate the family verses uniting the two become one foundation in marriage.

Obviously, easier said than done- so I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts no matter where you are in the concept.

Does it work? What has helped? Where have you see struggles to get there?

That’s beautiful! Definitely a food for thought to make sure that time does not pass by without feeding your tank of love!

Hi! I was having trouble logging on since I changed my password. Mommy brain. Yes I would love to see some of the Montessori resources everyone has used to help set up that environment in our own homes.

    Redecorating is always fun!

    Hi Anita!

My apologizes for the late response. I couldn’t figure out how to reply to you.

Logan is pretty much into anything you put in front of her if you show her how to use it first. It’s so sweet when I catch her talking or playing pretend with her toys. She has a few play kitchens & this ice cream set she loves to ring a bell and yell “ice cream ice cream what flavor would you like” then tells me she will clean up the store and do it all over again. Sometimes it feels like 100 times in a row. I’m not sure if you have ever seen the kids series Brother Francis? I highly recommend it-she has learned the Our Father from it and I know the content she is exposed to learn, dance & sing is one of our faith. I’ve learned a thing or two from there I’ve been able to use my with students as well.
